Is there a way to mark a stock as sold similar to google finance? I would like to enter my previously owned stocks to see where i am at overall. I like the way this portfolio looks and feels and would love this utilize this feature if available.
Hi -You can add a separate "Cash" position to your portfolio and note that the dollar amount is from the sale of that specific stock. You could also create a separate portfolio titles 'Sold' and add the former position there. However, that would impact the total for your combined lists.

For the last few months the order of securities on MyYahoo homepage does not match the order selected in MyPortfolio. Additionally for the last couple of days when clicking on stock symbols in MyYahoo more often than not there is an error that says the engineers are working on the problem. Will these issues be resolved soon? or if ever in the case of the securities order? It is really quite frustrating and I am considering looking for a different venue for homepage and stock information. I would rather not as i have used MyYahoo I honestly can't remember how long. 10 years at least.
Hi @Duker - Thanks for being a long time user of the My Yahoo page. At this time, we are aware of the problems with the portfolio modules on the My Yahoo page and do not have any immediate plans to make corrections to that product.
For accurate viewing of your portfolios, please use the main Finance page located at finance.yahoo.com We apologize for any inconvenience.
I'm using Yahoo finance in Canada to track my portfolio, so I enter all share prices in CAD Canadian dollars. Problem is that the individual holdings and the portfolio total is calculated by Yahoo is using market prices in USD. How do I get it to use CAD?
@lupasnikin - go to Settings on the right side of your portfolio screen and then select Edit Currency. Then change the Currency to CAD and click Save. That will change your portfolio to display each holding and the overall portfolio in CA$.
Hello Yahoo Financers,
Thanks for your great service. I just wanted to ask if you can support stocks from NEX market. This stock exchange becomes more and more popular. I've finally bought some shares from this market (Chapel Down Group plc NEX:CDGP)
Here is a link to this market: uk [dot] advfn [dot] com/stock-market/nex
Hi @dikdiggens - Thank you for the suggestion and the link (I had not heard of the NEX). I will add this to my weekly report. If you have time, it is best to also add it to the Finance Feedback Forum, where it has more visibility to the Finance team and can get votes from other users. Thanks!
Can you post these tickers?
As the subject line says the After Hours quotes are blank in my portfolio summary.
Pre Market quoes show up fine.
@NoEcm - I am not seeing any problems displaying aftermarket quotes using a Custom View in a portfolio list. What ticker symbols are you seeing with blanks? Not all tickers will have after hours trading.
You can see below that CSCO and NTAP had large price moves after the close.

Please correct the information regarding the annual dividend on Manhattan Bridge Capital, NASDAQ:LOAN.
In the " Forward Dividend & Yield " on Yahoo finance you indicate $0.43 (7.13%) .
However, the correct number is $0.48 , as you can see in the recent announcements the quarterly dividend is 0.12$ per share.
Kindly correct the record.
