Save drawing on chart

It is possible to draw a line or add a text box on a chart. Can these drawings be saved (together with the chart of course)?

Re: Save drawing on chart

Hi @chronograph - Yes, this is possible on the full screen interactive chart.

There are many different types of notations including arrows, text, rectangles, lines, free form doodles, and more. You can change the line size, line color, font, clear drawings, and undo your last action.

  1. Go to Yahoo Finance.
  2. Go to a stock quote page.
  3. Click Full Screen Graphic of the expand chart icon..
  4. Click the Add notes icon Image of the add notes icon..
  5. Add notes by selecting from the toolbar.
  6. Follow the additional onscreen prompts.

Re: Save drawing on chart

I managed to add lines and notes. But what I didn't expect is that the ones I made on a certain quote chart appear on other charts as well. Of course I want to add quote specific notes.

Another question is how to delete notes. The Undo button is only useful if you want to delete the last one.

I've tried this drawing tool for a while and I think it's rather user-unfriendly.

Re: Save drawing on chart

Just use "clear drawings," it will remove everything.

Re: Save drawing on chart

I have drawn a line and added a text box. I only want to delete the line. Use of 'Clear drawings' will also delete the text box.
