We’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue the Yahoo Communities effective Jan 24, 2019.
Be assured you will still be able to find answers to your Yahoo product and app questions on the Yahoo Help website (https://help.yahoo.com). In addition, you’ll be able to find the Yahoo Community moderators on Twitter, responding from our many handles including @YahooCare and @YahooFantasyCC.

The downloaded NAV data includes NEGATIVE values for Adjusted Close.
See time periods 2/3/1992 thru 6/26/2000
Good work @KCOPPOLA, we finally found the previously mythical negative adjusted close. Others have stated in the past they've seen it but could never give an example.
The problem is the dividends paid before the 1 for 10 split on 11/22/2002 need to be divided by 10. I expect YF engineers multiplied those dividends by 10 (or divided by 0.1) twice instead of just once. You can go to aol.com and select a MAX chart to see the correct split-adjusted dividend amounts such as the 6/28/2000 dividend should be $9.251 instead of $92.51.
Also, HIACX has missing/incorrect dividends according to morningstar.com and aol.com below:
06/27/2001 $16.09 *** you can see the $16/share drop in NAV from $58.40 to $42.50
Has there been any progress or update on this. I checked today and still see negative values starting at 1/31/1992 thru 6/27/2000
Thanks for following up on this @kcoppola This was missed when it was first posted. I have just reported it to engineering and it should be fixed soon. We apologize for the delay.
@rayo - I have also reported the additional issues with HIACX Thank you!
I was hoping to get an update or see this item resolved. When looking at the downloaded NAV historical data again today, things seem to have gone amiss in 6/28/2000 when the NAV when from $35.86 to -$15.05 a $50 change over night! Then all the prices going back to 1984 are now clearly impacted and incorrect.
@KCOPPOLA - The ticket is still open and I have updated it stating that the original reporter is requesting the status. On a side note: we have had some backend support changes due to the purchase of Yahoo. We hope to get back to having these type of issues resolved in 24-48 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience these delays are causing. Thank you.
This is when the adjusted close went negative for HIACX. It is all caused by the dividend being 10 times too high. Unless the 3rd party provider of data for YF has the correct dividends prior to the 1/10 split then it will likely require a manual correction of the YF database to fix.
We appreciate the info. Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA for a fix yet. Sorry for these inconveniences.
