Re: how to link two yahoo email accounts

Hi @johnday12,

Access all your mailboxes from Yahoo Mail, including third-party accounts. It’s easy to switch between mailboxes to send or read email.

Connect a mailbox

  1. Mouse over the Settings menu icon Gear Icon | select Settings.
  2. Click Accounts.
  3. Click Add another mailbox.
  4. Enter the email address.
  5. Read the "Next steps" displayed for that email provider.
  6. Click Add mailbox.
  7. In the pop-up window that appears, sign in to the mailbox you're adding.
  8. Follow the steps in the pop-up window to complete connecting the mailbox.
  9. Click Save.

Now you can switch between mailboxes by clicking them in the sidebar menu where your Inbox and Folders are listed.

Good to know - It can take a while for your account to sync with your Yahoo Mail account.

Thanks!

Re: how to link two yahoo email accounts

There are two ways to combine email. Note that you must keep both accounts.. There is no way to combine and end up with one account.

1. Hover over the far right gear icon ⚙ in Yahoo mail and then click "settings".
Then click "accounts" in left column.
Select "add another mailbox" and enter the address you want to receive email FROM.

OR

2. Hover over the far right gear icon ⚙ in Yahoo mail and then click "settings".
Then click "accounts" in left column.
Click on the "Primary" account.
Enter a forwarding address to send email TO.

Do not do both.

Feel free to reply if my question or answer is not clear. Include @Barkley_Hound in the post.
I do not work for Yahoo and my postings are just my opinion based on experience.
Make sure your phone and email are current. There is no way to verify or recover an account without them.

I don't have the option to: Add another mailbox. Any other suggestions?

Re: how to link two yahoo email accounts

The yahoo mail app sucks. There is no option to view all email accounts in one inbox.
PLEASE add this feature. I have 5 yahoo email accounts. I don’t want to, nor have the time to switch to every account inthe side bar when I want to check email.
I want to just open yahoo mail app and see every email I’ve received regardless what account it came into and beable to delete it or reply to it, etc.
The iPhone mail app lets me do this, but when I delete through the Apple mail app it doesn’t delete in my actual yahoo account and really fecks everything up.
I’m sick of missing emails because I forgot to check one of them.
