Disable link from outside account to my yahoo

I used to contract with a company that assigned me an email and linked it to my yahoo account. I no longer work with them but I can't get them to remove the link to my yahoo mail. I do not have access to that other account. How can I disconnect it from my end? I am on a Mac but receive these messages on all my devices.

@bikerchick

This all depends on what you mean by "link".

If their account was just listed in the left column of your account you can remove it under mailbox settings.

If they are forwarding email then it must be done from their side.

In 28 days (January 31, 2019) the Classic version of Yahoo Mail will no longer be available. At that time you'll be upgraded to the newest version of Yahoo Mail or Basic Mail depending on your browser's compatibility.

I do not work for Yahoo and my postings are just my opinion based on experience.
