Quinn Hughes

Does anybody know why Quinn Hughes isn't available?

Everybody else drafted before and many after him in last year's draft are available to take even if they were sent back to juniors however he's not there.

I can understand regular leagues not wanting to take him but this is for a keeper league.

@Silvercup

It is likely because Hughes has not signed the NHL players agreement.

By law, Yahoo cannot put a player in the player pool that has not signed the agreement.

@Ooglyboogly  Any new players added to the game during the season are subject to your league's waiver rules.

Re: Quinn Hughes

Probably because he did not sign his pro contract. He decided to play 1 more year at Michigan.  See article below: *Link Removed - See the community guidelines for more information.*

Re: Quinn Hughes

So when Quinn signs, will Yahoo have him be subject to waiver immediately? Or will he be a Free Agent?
