Scoring change **bleep**

Scoring change **bleep**

How in the heck can you change the fumble by Elliott to not a fumble, when the refs awarded the ball to Indy. Yahoo has to change that back for all games. I lost because of some stupid thing. If it was a fumble, and the yardage was changed before the fumble, that is ok, but a fumble ruled in a game is still a fumble. You can't screw over all fantasy football players, because of some stupid correction, that was after the fact. The fact is that they gave the Colts the ball, that should automatically stay a Fumble lost for Elliott!

First, the stat change came from the NFL, not Yahoo.

Second, it was a 4th down play.  Since Dallas did not make the first down Indy was getting the ball regardless.

Third, did you read any of the other posts on this topic?

This was a 4th down play (4th and 1) at the Indy 3.  Zeke lost 2 yards and Colts were awarded the ball on downs at the 5 yard line.  The fumble was recovered by the offense, there was no change of possession, and this means the corrected stat is the right one.  It kind of sucks the NFL couldn't speed this up for playoff weeks, but your loss was a legit one.

if that is the case then score it right the first time. in the NFL game book it shows a fumble, so who is right? it is still **bleep**, makes you think you won then 3 days later it shows you lost because of a stupid technicallity. The NFL loves the stupid Cowboys too much and kisses Jerry's **bleep**, so that is probably why it was changed

The NFL rulebook shows a fumble and recovery by Elliot.

"(14:15) E.Elliott left tackle to IND 5 for -2 yards (P.Desir). FUMBLES (P.Desir), and recovers at IND 5. DAL-X.Su'a-Filo was injured during the play. His return is Questionable."

Earlier in the game Andrew Luck fumbled and recovered his own, and was scored the same way for Luck.
