Doubleheaders

Is there way for Yahoo to split the double headers so that a player who starts the first game but not the second game can be replaced?

Re: Doubleheaders

Hi @Madmikee

Here's the problem, even if we split the game, if a player starts the first game, they've earned stats, and unless you want to lose those stats, they need to stay locked on the active roster.

Double-headers are often a result of a cancelled game, so giving you a shot at another player who's game was not cancelled earlier in the week, isn't really fair.

If we were going to make this happen, we'd have to basically duplicate the roster position and the player, so that they show scheduled for each game individually, then allow you to switch out one of them. What I'm saying is that the process would be so complicated and prone to issues, that it's beyond the current capabilities, and doesn't really follow out stats accrual logic.

Really the key is - once a game starts for a player in an active roster spot (playing or not) they're locked into that roster position so that the stability of any potential earned stats is ensured.
