Conversations are emails to the same recipients with the same subject line, grouped together in one easy to read package. When you click on a conversation, you'll see everyone's replies in a list - no more searching through your mailbox for messages that go together. A conversation looks a lot like a single email in you message list, but shows recent senders and the number of emails in the current thread.
Why would I use conversations?
If you like to be organized, this is a great feature to take advantage of. It will keep your mailbox nice and tidy!
Why would I disable conversations?
Occasionally you might run into issue with deleting emails and clearing your trash or spam folders. If you disable conversations temporarily, you can resolve these issues in no time. You can then re-enable conversations and go back to using Yahoo Mail as you always have. Here are the steps:
Mouse over the Settings menu icon | select Settings.
Click Viewing email.
Select or deselect Enable conversations.
If you have any other questions about conversations, let us know by posting in the Mail community under ‘features and settings’.
Use the 'accepted solution' button to let everyone know your issue was resolved! You can also give 'kudos' if you agree with someone's post or appreciate their input. Points are awarded for these actions. Contest are held regularly too! Check out the 'Announcements' boards for the latest details.
